Sarah was frustrated with her classes. Her university students were not engaged with the class she was providing. She had high hopes for a media project they she assigned the students. Surely they would be interested in that but they weren't. Sarah got help with her problem and learned about how autonomy in activities leads to greater engagement. Since then her classes have become more engaging and her class feedback scores have improved.

Andrew was struggling with teaching a young kindergarten class. He had become frustrated with the school and knew the bosses were unhappy. He had never been a lead teachers and didn't quite understand how to theme classes and develop a large variety of activities. With a little help and coaching Andrew's attitude toward the school and teaching have improved greatly. He learned to structure class lessons, work with monthly themes, and manage his class.

Maria's department had been stressing communication and presentation with their students for several years. Professors had started requiring speeches and presentations in each class, but they saw little improvement in the students' performance. With an understanding of how presentation skills can tweaked and integrated in regular class sessions the professors were better prepared for helping their students succeed.
